Lunchtime Writing Club

In Room 18 at St Martins School
We met a boy who was a fool
He was far too polite
Tried to teach us to write
So we chucked him right into the pool.

But his chances of death were rather slim
For we soon discovered that he could swim
And he couldn't have died
For the water had dried
So the odds were quite good for him.

Skip-a-thon preparations

Today we went out to practise for the skip-a-thon even though it's in week 10 . We started by doing normal skipping rope jumps, then we tried cross loop skipping, thirdly we did backwards skipping (it was really hard), fourthly we tried backwards cross loop skipping (it was getting really tricky now), then we did multi person skipping (two people holding each end and two jumping in the middle) and lastly we did multi person double rope skipping which is the most coolest of all of the patterns we tried. Here are some photos to satisfy you.

Alex and Alice doing multi person skipping

Alex going solo😱

Kelley strutting his stuff (awesome)😮

Max doing his "like a boss" routine😎

Mia is trying really hard

Lauren attempting the multi person double rope skipping technic (INTENSE)❗️

Amelia flying like an angel attempting multi person skipping:)

Baxter showing off his skipping skills instead of his soccer ones😎

Dom doing his signature " flying move"

Max's 2nd round of awesomeness (oh yea😎😎😎😎😎)
