Unfortunately, our Outdoor Education kayaking trip with Mr P has been cancelled for Thursday 8th May. The weather has not been on our side when it comes to Room 18s Outdoor Education trips and Thursday looks no different. I sincerely apologise to those parents who have taken time off work to help on the trip. We still plan to go ahead with the mountain biking trip through Burwood Forest next Thursday. This will draw our senior interchange programme to a close for Term 1/2. It will start up again late in Term 3.

Jake's Canterbury Athletics Honours
Late last month, Jake represented Canterbury Athletics in Dunedin. He placed an impressive 1st place in high jump.
Further to this, Jake received a trophy for being the Under 12 Champion for Port Hills Athletics Club. He came 1st in high jump, long jump, discus and shot put. He also placed 2nd in the 1500m and 800m running events.
Well done Jake! Room 18 is very proud of your achievements!
