Check your senior jackets

Parents: please check the names and sizes on your child's senior jacket.  Quite a few students have lost their senior jackets lately and as I'm sure you can appreciate, they'd like to find them.  In particular, we are looking for a size 10 senior jacket with no Senior Success Awards attached.   

Please ensure that all school clothing is clearly labeled with your child's name and where possible, class number.

Back in the swing of things!

A lot has happened since the last blog entry:

• A number of Room 18 students participated in the Gut Busta event on 29th September at the Mandeville Sports Centre.  Mitchell and Angus' team placed 1st in the boys category and Emily, Jess, Ella and Bella placed 4th in their girls category. 
• Room 18 participated admirably in the school Athletics Day, and although we did not bring back the Class Eagle, a number of students qualified through to Zones.  The zone competition will be held Wednesday 6th November.   Of special note, Emily was named the 12 years girls age champion.

Preparations are well underway for our end of year celebrations.  The Year 8 Graduation Committee and Year 8 Leavers Gift Committee have been busily working towards what is sure to be a fantastic end to the 2013 school year.  Keep up the great work guys and girls!
