Olympic Ambassador Visit
On Monday 13th May, the Year 7/8 syndicate were fortunate to have former NZ Olympic bobsled representative, Aaron Orangi, speak to us about his experiences. We were mesmorised by his tales of courage and triumph, and fascinated by his stories about some of the injuries that fellow bobsled teammates have sustained. It was inspiring to hear of his humble beginnings in Darfield, to Olympic stage at the Winter Olympics in Italy. Thanks for coming in Aaron! We really enjoyed meeting you!
