Periodic Table slides

Our Period Table slides are starting to look great! Well done to those students who have researched the element that was assigned to them.  Remember, you can use the links on slide 2 for your research, and also, the number that you have been given is the element number, not the slide number (we have had a wee bit of confusion).  To alleviate some of the confusion, please add your name to the slide that you complete.

The students in blue text have completed their assigned element slide.  I can't wait to look at them all in class next week.  Students need to be prepared to discuss (in brief) their element.

Keep up the awesome work team!

Term 2-3 Reading Challenge and new Year 7/8 titles in the library

Mrs Hayes has asked that we remind you about the LIANZA/Hell's Pizza reading challenge that she spoke to us some months ago.  If you have read 8 books you get a free kids pizza.  Yay!

The official end of our Point of Challenge reading programme is Monday of next week.  We have decided that 3 in-depth, quality Evidence of Learning tasks equates to 1 x academic senior success badge.  Please have all of your E.O.L.s in by Monday.

Term 3 senior success badges and pizza reading challenge awards will be handed out a special syndicate assembly on Tuesday.

You may also be interested to know that there are some new titles in the library for Year 7/8s.  You can view and reserve these through the following link:
