All Alone

Falling from the sky
All alone
Oh my
A box at the bottom of the sea.
Hitting the wave
All alone
A salty grave
A box at the bottom of the sea.
Sitting on the sand
All alone
Away from land
A box at the bottom of the sea.
How did I get here?
All alone
A black square
A box at the bottom of the sea.
Thinking what could have been
All alone
Unseen
A box at the bottom of the sea.
Forever in the blue
All alone
Without you
The box at the bottom of the sea.

The Forest
Swinging through the calm, green forest
Strong vines carry us all the time
PING!
The vine snaps
BANG!
A whole wave of pain travels through my flimsy body.
Look around
Where is it going?
The forest is leaving
Cringe, as I watch trees tumble to the ground
The forest is leaving
All the leaves beneath my furry feet, blow away with the wind.
I’m left standing on something cold and hard
The forest is leaving
Suddenly all these tall, white things start appearing
They are full of creatures that I have never seen before
The forest is leaving
All this noise has come out of nowhere.
It scares me...
No more rustles or birds singing, it sounds like horns beeping and people screaming
The forest is leaving
Things are rushing past, leaving me cold and scared
The forest is leaving.
I take one last look around and I know...
The forest has left.

Fantasy Writing II
My legs
ache. I adjust my back against the rough wrinkled bark of the tree, sensing it
sway and creak in the miniscule breeze. The sounds of the forest surround
me. The melodies of birds and the odd
mangled howl echo in the distance. The faint trickles of the creek nearby mask
its juggernaut power; it erodes the rock and earth at a snails pace. Of course, the eerie vast resonance of the
forest remains; so too, the continuous hissing of pistons and whirring of
joints from my vibrating mechanical arm.
My back
slides down the rough tree and I relax into a nonchalance state. My mind wonders and questions the absence of
animals - no jittery squirrels, shy deer or slinking foxes. Only the birds can be heard. They remain absent from sight, resting safely
in the trees. I examine the ubiquitous frilly brown fungi that litter the
forest floor. I question, Are these mushrooms safe to eat? They could make a tasty
snack if I washed them in the creek nearby.

"Untitled"
The hag threw her deformed head towards the starless midnight sky and shrieked the words of the dragon. Her thin and frail bone structure morphed into a monstrous stone beast. The dirty mud stained remains of her tattered rags, spiraled onto the dusty gravel road to reveal the once ancient, frail hag, to now be a towering stone scaled juggernaut.

She scurried to gather her things, only to find it all gone. She grabbed the dagger from her light brown leather satchel. She looked up and saw footprints. They were not those of a human, or wolf - they were too large to be anything that lived around here.
Elwin was a renowned elven hunter. Her skin dark, blending in with the shadows; her long white hair hidden by her black, shadowy hood. Her steps were swift and silent. Her tracking skills, those of a bloodhound.

The Last Light
Nearly every flower was either hurriedly searching for food, or curled up under an old crumbled leaf. If not, they were dead. The only things left were the creatures of darkness, and the fog and mist that surrounded them. It hadn't always been like this.
Once, the flowers would dance as birds harmonised in the trees. The squirrels would play 'capture the flag' and 'dodge-ball' with the different acorns; while the mice rode bullfrogs in a tree stump rodeo. None of the creatures had to worry about the living shadows, as each tribe was guarded by a forest spirit. These spirits were called sakuras. They were bigger creatures, about one and a half metres tall, and they emitted a reddish/pink light out of their chest. They were half human... half plant...

There's a Dragon in Town
"There hasn't been a dragon attack since... well... I don't remember when the last attack was. I think it was about 100-200 years ago," the old man said to the little kids.
Well, my name is Boris and my family died when I was a little boy. The name of our town is Goonk. I am an elf and I live in a town of elves. There is a sacred cave in the abandoned trees by the mountains.

Poems about Difference
Discrimination on Gender
Yes, I’m a girl and no I don’t mind
Different treatment is not all right
I should not stay at home and clean the house
I should not stay at home and look after the kids.
I should be able to do anything I want
Like going into the army or being a police woman
And not be told
“You’re a girl you can’t do this.”
But I will do it anyway
And fight for women's rights!
I might be a little different
but that’s all right.

When Bullies Strike
Top marks in P.E
and biggest in size
Yet bullies still yell,
Top marks in P.E
and biggest in size
Yet bullies still yell,
"He ate all the pies!"
Coming to school with a smile,
Coming to school with a smile,
A big grin on my face,
When a herd of kids shout
‘Egg his face!’
Later at lunch,
Still covered in yoke,
I watch a bully eat,
Hoping he chokes.
But he catches my stare
I’m now filled with fear
A banana to the face,
Oh, what a disgrace!
Tired of this bully,
‘Egg his face!’
Later at lunch,
Still covered in yoke,
I watch a bully eat,
Hoping he chokes.
But he catches my stare
I’m now filled with fear
A banana to the face,
Oh, what a disgrace!
Tired of this bully,
Well, I’m double his size
I hit him in the face
I hit him in the face
Right in his eyes.
No more do I fear,
No more do I fear,
This evil glare,
I’m always filled with might,
When a bully strikes.
I’m always filled with might,
When a bully strikes.
