Room 18/19 Sporting Success!
Canterbury Cross Country
Well done to Leila and Chloe who placed 1st and 3rd respectively in the Canterbury Primary Schools cross country held at Halswell Quarry a few weeks back. They then competed at the Canterbury Intermediate/Primary School cross country at Lake Roto Kohatu Reserve. Leila placed 5th and Chloe placed 8th. They have both qualified for the Canterbury team and will compete at regionals late in Term 3. Ka mau te wehi kōrua (Awesome you two!)
FIFA U20 Football World Cup
Sam was a Mascot Mate at the FIFA U20 quarter final held in Christchurch. He went around the field at half time with the mascot and high-fived all the kids in the crowd. We hear you did a great job. Well done Sam!
