MAGGI Cooking Showdown Update

Well done to Angus, Grace, Noah and Emily who did a fantastic job today at the MAGGI Cooking Showdown South Island Regional Final!  The final was broken up into three heats.

Waitati School
Mapua School
Waimea Intermediate

Heat 3:
Southland Boys High School
Darfield High School
Beckenham School
St Andrews Primary

The timetable for our team:

10:30 - team registration

11:15-11:45am - kitchen prep and brief

11:45-11:55am - competition and judges brief

12:00-12:50pm - cooking and plate up

12:50-1:15pm - judging and clean up

The team learned some cooking tips from the judges and gained valuable lessons in media training.

The event will be televised on the Erin Simpson Show on August 16th.  The South Island winner will be announced on the show.
