Senior Interchange - Visual Arts

The Student Curriculum Team decided that they'd like to explore face painting for the visual arts component of Senior Interchange.  Room 18 started today with some cool results.  Check out how well they did!

Visual Arts - Face Painting
Learning Outcomes - Students will:
  • Investigate the purpose of face painting in different cultures
  • Look at how other artists have used their face, or others’ faces, as a canvas for self expression
  • Develop and revisit visual ideas for their own artwork
  • Explore and describe ways in which meanings can be communicated and interpreted in their own and others’ work
  • Use Bloom’s 6 Thinking Hats to reflect on processes and next steps
