Last week, we entered four teams in the Otago Times Extra Canterbury Spelling Quiz. Categories included: proofreading, abbreviations, dictionary skills, roots and endings, word origins and spelling. Our four teams placed incredibly well (out of 81 teams)!
Team 1: Amy, Nyah and Rosie - 4th equal
Team 4: Holly R., Lena and Jonas - 4th equal
Team 3: Evie, Lily S. and Jake vK - 7th equal
Team 2: Paris T., Rosa and Sam C. - 13th equal
Well done teams! We are now looking ahead to the Current Events Quiz which is being held in September. We will have a syndicate wide challenge early next term to help select teams.
