We had an exciting and inspiring visit from Aaron Orangi, who qualified
as one of five bobsleigh racers for the Olympic Winter Games in Turin,
Italy in 2006. He lives in Darfield where he
works as a pharmacist. In 2013, Aaron was named a New Zealand Olympic
Ambassador for the New Zealand Olympic Committee.
Aaron spoke to the Year 5-8 students about believing in yourself, working hard and not letting others tell you that you can't achieve your goals.
